    Our external quality assessment (EQA) program is aimed at medical laboratories and point-of-care testing sites. The program includes more than 250 clinically relevant external quality assessment schemes and it is compliant with ISO 15189 standard requirements.

    Changes in the 2025 program

    New schemes and products

    • 5850 Brucella antibodies
    • 5241 Bordetella pertussis/parapertussis, nucleic acid detection
    • 5687 HBsAg and HCVAb POCT
    • 5251 Interferon Gamma Release Assay (IGRA) for Mycobacterium tuberculosis - whole blood sample
    • 5686 Norovirus, antigen detection
    • 2755 Holotranscobalamin (HoloTC) and Methylmalonic Acid

    Pilot schemes are EQA schemes under our product development.

    All changes are listed in the Product Catalogue on page 5.

    Subscription for 2025 will open on 2 September 2024

    Please subscribe to the 2025 EQA programs before the end of November 2024 to ensure your participation in all needed EQA rounds. You can renew your subscription by contacting our local partner in your country. Direct customers can renew their subscriptions on LabScala starting on 2 September 2024.     New EQA Schemes

    We actively follow the development of laboratory medicine as we want to produce clinically relevant EQA schemes to serve clinical laboratories and point-of-care sites. We launch new pilot studies on a regular basis and aim to increase our EQA portfolio with 5-10 new EQA schemes every year.

    Digital External Quality Assessment Programs

    Our digital EQA product line provides an advanced approach to external quality assessment. Digital EQA programs or virtual EQA programs use digital images, videos, virtual microscopy technology, and questionnaires as EQA samples.
