Impartiality Policy

Aurevia recognizes the importance of independence and impartiality for an organization providing external quality assessment, medical device consulting services, clinical trial services, auditing, certification, and Aurevia Academy training services.

All services have been separated into separate business areas in the company. The services are not offered to customers together, but the sales of each service take place separately from the others. The price of the services is based on a fixed price list or an offer made to the customer on a case-by-case basis. Purchasing several services together does not affect the overall pricing.

Aurevia

An Independent Service Provider

In External Quality Assessment Services (EQAS), Aurevia is an independent, impartial and independent service provider. Independence is ensured, for example, by working fairly and openly with equipment and reagent manufacturers. The aim is to provide all customers with the same samples, regardless of the equipment or reagents in use. In cooperation with round experts required for the provision of external quality assessment services and working under a separate contract for the company, emphasis is placed on the requirement of impartial and independent operations.

External audits and certifications follow processes in accordance with accreditation requirements and the auditors' interests are assessed. Consulting services and clinical trial services are not provided to customers of audit and certification services in these areas of qualification.

In training services, most of the services are events that are open to all. Special attention is paid to the independence  and impartiality of training services when planning company-specific training specifically requested by the customer.

Aurevia communicates openly and actively, we train our personnel systematically and constantly collect feedback on our operations. In  cooperation with service providers, impartiality and independence are primarily ensured through contractual arrangements. In this way, we prevent mistakes, promote continuous development of operations and ensure impartiality and independence.

EQA and Auditing and Certification activities are monitored regularly to identify, analyse and treat any threats to its impartiality. This includes monitoring conflicts of interest arising from the relationships of personnel (including external experts and auditors). The declaration of conflicts of interest is to be updated in case of any changes in professional or personal situation. The management process is described in SOP-30

Aurevia’s Management team annually evaluates the independence and impartiality of its services. Aurevia’s Quality department is responsible for conducting annual impartiality analysis for review of the management team. The quality department has no operational responsibility and is therefore a neutral and independent body in terms of evaluation.
